The Client

A high-end skin clinic on one of West Hollywood’s most recognizable streets.

This clinic is known for results-driven facials and advanced skin treatments, with a brand that deliberately positions itself above the typical med spa.

That positioning is an asset in the treatment room and a challenge in search. People looking for a facial in Los Angeles type “med spa” and “best facial” into Google, not the clinic’s name. The clinic needed to show up for those searches without diluting what makes it different.

The Challenge

A clear goal — and three things standing in the way.

The clinic came to Aesthera with a simple ask: fill the appointment book with the right kind of client.

There was no reliable way to trace which bookings came from which marketing channel, so ad spend was hard to justify or scale. The website was built for e-commerce, with thin service pages and almost no local search presence. And front desk follow-up on inbound leads was inconsistent, so paid leads were slipping through before anyone could book them.

What We Did

A four-part rebuild of the acquisition engine.

Ad campaigns matched to real search demand, dedicated landing pages, call-and-form tracking end-to-end, and a follow-up rhythm that made sure the leads coming in actually converted.

01
Built the campaign around real intent

Lead with what people actually search for.

We led with signature facials — the clinic’s highest-volume and easiest-to-say-yes-to service — and ran Google Search campaigns on facial and skin treatment terms across the Los Angeles market. Meta campaigns ran alongside to reach people who weren’t searching yet but were already thinking about their skin.

02
Sent traffic to pages designed to convert

Dedicated landing pages, not the homepage.

Instead of pointing ads at the main website, we built dedicated landing pages for the facial offer, along with a short consultation quiz and a consult form for people who wanted guidance before booking.

03
Tracked every call and form to the source

Turn ad spend into a line item, not a guess.

Every ad campaign got its own tracking number, so the clinic could hear the calls, see which keyword brought each caller in, and know exactly what each booking was worth.

04
Tightened the follow-up

No lead goes cold.

We sent every lead to a dashboard the front desk updated after every call and form, with a simple touchpoint sequence — text, call, email — so no lead went cold. Missed calls were logged and called back, and we tracked the gap between the missed call and the callback so the clinic could see where bookings were being lost.

We’ve seen a huge increase in new clients from Google. Before this there were basically none, and now it’s our number one source, ahead of referrals.

The Results

Five weeks, 116 leads, 21 booked clients — a 2.2x return on spend.

From June 29 to August 2, the campaign generated 116 leads from $8,024 in combined Google and Meta spend. Of those, 21 became booked clients, for a total of $17,625 in booked appointment revenue. Cost per lead came in at $69, and the cost to acquire a booked client was $382.

The strongest week, July 13 to 19, produced 32 leads and 8 booked clients worth $8,560 from $1,661 in spend — a return of more than 5x.

Several clients booked more than one appointment inside the window, and a number of them had follow-ups scheduled into August and beyond. The revenue above reflects first appointments only, not the lifetime value of clients who come back.

Why It Worked

The ads did their job. The process around them did the rest.

Leading with the facial, rather than the clinic’s premium treatments, gave people a low-friction first visit. Once they were in the chair, the clinic’s team did what they do best — and several first-time facial clients went on to book higher-value treatments within days.

Call tracking changed the conversation with the client. Instead of debating whether ads were working, we could point to the specific calls and forms that turned into revenue and adjust spend with confidence.

The front desk process mattered as much as the ads. The weeks with the fastest callbacks were the weeks with the most bookings.
